There have been many columns recently in religious and non-religious media about which Party has the most faith. Some of the media even measures faith from a cultural level or a spiritual level. The media blasts Senator Frist because he shows up on a monitor at a religious convention of Christians which is dealing with political issues. Some columnists have written recently about so-called liberal Christians vs conservative Christians. There was outrage that the new Pope Benedict was actually Catholic. The media is worried about real Christians in politics or any of our cultural life. What is so ironic is that in our PC world is that real Christianity is being debated by the very media , politicians, and commetators who disdain religion out and out! And supposedly the public is supposed to listen to these irreligious commentators and be warned against a new Taliban , or Nazis, or Crusades or Council of Trent right here in the USA. Frankly, irreligious people have no foundation to comment upon religion. They are biased from the start. At least, religious people on any level can debate theology with some bearing. For instance, do I think that Democrats are more spiritual than Republicans? Well, it depends on the geographic area in which those Dems live. Surely, down South in the Bible belt there are some Dems who are born again Christians. Now, if I look at the NW, the NE or California and ask the same question, the answer is NO. In fact, polls now show that by and large, there are more religious Republicans and in fact, more born again Christians in the Republican Party than the Democrats. The media hates this. Well , tough. I want all Americans to meet and be filled with Jesus. I make no bones about that. This horrifies the media and the Left. Again. Tough. The nation is far better off with many Americans having religious underpinings, whether they be religious Jews or Christians. No, I do not think Muslims aid this nation. Sorry. Not very PC but so far , these groups have not made the contributions against the war against Islamofacism nor have they been seen as Americans first, and Muslims second. What about Christians? I am a Christian first, Yes, but I am a patriotic American and proud of it. It is freedom , liberty and faith that keeps us strong. Not an elimination of faith, or the contributions that those faithful people have given to America.BTW, even our religious peoples support our military over and against the secular leftist humanists who make up part of our nation. And No , I do not want a theocracy. I want faiths and non-faiths given equal dignity as far as who contributes to our democratic free nation. It is the Leftist secularists who do not want that equity today. And one more thing: do I think there is such a bird as a liberal Christian? Of course, but I would not want to be in their shoes when Jesus returns. Yet, even there, Jesus will decide , not me.

Will the Pubs finally act like the Majority?

I am actually praying for the Pubs nowadays. They seem so lost and so wussy that the liberal Dems are playing them like violins. The Senate Pubs are far worse than the House Pubs. The Senators are a in a club that factually stinks! They think they can be soooooo sensitive to the Media, the Polls, the Dems, the Beltway gang. The Pubs think like country club elites while the Dems think like gang members in the Bronx of old. They are savage in their hatred and their inaccuracies in the facts is appalling but they play for keeps. Confirmation of John Bolton, confirmation of the President's judges, dealing with illegal immigration are 3 issues that the voting Base want them to activate. Yet the Pubs dither. Sorry people and yet they think they are playing fair. Fair????? Dems never played fair for 45 years. Pubs smiled as they got kicked in the teeth. It is time for Pubs to kick some Dem teeth, smiles and all. Act like the majority or lose in 2006 and 2008. It is simple but the RNC types, the President in the WH don't get it yet. If the Pubs do not come out against illegal immigration, my bet is that they lose the elections in 2006-08. My prayers seem to be failing. Perhaps from now on, I'll get back to praying for the Lost to accept the Gospel of Christ. The Pubs don't seem to be getting any thing right and if they lose the Evangelical vote, Bye bye Congress and the Presidency.

The death of a friend

Today at 5AM, one of our church friends, Marcia Jimenez went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. She had had cancer on 3 separate ocassions. This third time, was her undoing. She was brave, had a huge heart for mission, yet her family was not where she was in Christ. I did her father's funeral a few years ago. But, her mother , who is 90 plus, is still alive. A very nice lady and one who is a believer, it must be hard to outlive a child for this gracious woman. Marcia's three daughters have been with her as was her husband. The greatest thing that could come out of all this pain , suffering and sickness would be that the whole family would be in Christ for the rest of their lives. Marcia was a testimony to my wife. I hope she will be for others. After all, our witness of our whole life is our real legacy. Memories of Marcia, memories of our lives will be the true outcome of a life lived well or worthless. I know where Marcia is right now, just hours after her physical death. She was brave as she trod the path of pain and patience. We will miss her. When I do her service, I hope God's Holy Spirit will fill our spirits with her cheer, love, generosity and mercy for mission. Especially for me as well as her family. She was a living testimony and that ain't bad for a life that never reached 60 years!

Listening to Dennis Prager at a Temple

Monday evening, my wife and I went to see Dennis Prager speak. He was at Temple Beth David in Westminter, Ca. It was naturally crowded with all brands of Jewish faithful and a large contingent of Gentiles. Err, well, Evangelical Christians like us. The biggest cheers came for Dennis from the Christians. That is not surprising since Jewish voters vote in greater numbers for Democrats and have little in common with Prager. Still, his humor, and his amazing support for the Judeo-Christian value system plus Christian contributions to democracy, freedom and liberty here in America gathered much loving support at this venue. His Talk Radio program is sponsored by Salem Broadcasting which is an Evangelical group of businessmen. They sponsor, Laura Ingraham, Dennis, Mike Medved-also Jewish, and Hugh Hewitt. A group of conservative Republicans who also love God. Wow, what a change from the dull old liberal agnostic-Unitarian types that dominate the Democratic media and stay away from God as much as they can. Unless of course it will win them votes in the next electoral cycle! Dennis has good books for many types of readers. One on Happiness, one on Being Jewish, and one called Think a Second Time on many so-called politically correct concepts which need to be destroyed with logic and faith! Prager is one of my heroes and loving God has only made me glad he is on my side and vice versa in the Culture wars afflicting our nation today.

Republicans doth make cowards of us all!

Recently, I wrote Senator Frist, the President and will be writing the RNC. The comments all surrounded their cowardice in facing the issues of morality that the Shiavo case brought up, illegal immigration and most of all, their failure to get the President's jurist choices through the confirmation process. What I said was that until they acted on these issues, no Pub outfit would get one red cent from me. Now, I know 2006 is coming up. I will only support candidates who take a postive spin on these issues by trying to solve them instead of avoiding them. Other Pub Talk Radio guys, some conservative media will be appalled. But, more than my gripes will be forming the scenario for the 2006 elections. If Pubs stay home in those elections, the GOP majorities will dissolve. Only a few in each precinct have to do that. I am a pragmatist. I want to win. But, with majorities in all 3 branches of government, the Pubs are acting as if they are in the minority. Soon they might be if they do not start to deal with the issues their voters want them too. Listening to moderates, Democrats and the NY Times is a pattern for political death and cowardice. It is time to get the judges through. It is time to protect our borders and to stop pandering to Fox and the Mexican government. It is time to deal with out of control judges who do not take into account moral considerations. Legislation should be pushed on all 3 fronts and now not 2006 for political considerations!

The Pope and Politics

John Paul could really Pope as one wag said on Talk Radio the other day. He could and when Billy Graham and Pat Robertson can both say that John loved Christ and was a true evangelist for the Lord and His Kingdom, we know that something special has been taken from us all. Liberals want a liberal pope now. Not very likely and thank God for that! As a Protestant Conservative Christian and one who is quite political, I am thankful that the wing of Christianity from Rome, will stand with Biblical stances instead of radical secular fads just to be politically correct. If only the mainline churches in the USA would do the same, our nation would be far better off. Democrats want to get in on the pope, Shiavo, religious tilts so they can get elected. The Left simply believes in the Culture of Death except when it gets killers off from capital punishment!! The Pubs seem to be still in the majority when it comes to believing on principles and then putting them into legislation. The Left Dems want their views legislated but seem to use the courts and university classrooms to get their principles instituted. Today, in the papers, Ron Brownsteen and John Fund have two different articles that say the GOP still has the corner on moral issues which affect political determinations. When one reads the NY Times Op-Ed fora and other articles, one would think that the Bush Admin., conservative Christians, and the GOP were collapsing over their views. Yet Fund and Ron's articles belie that death wish from the Left! A new Pope will not give the Left much to work on either.

The end came: now what?

The Terri horror is over. But, the issues are not over. There are many battles to be fought in this Culture of Life vs the Culture of Death. But, now what? There are many other issues here. Some are life and death issues. But, there are also court issues, separation of power issues and election issues. What legislatures will step up to the plate and deal with life and death issues such as health care, hospice care, (killing the old,young, disabled, minorities, gays, Republicans etc.!!!!!!!!!), and jurist selections.

All 50 states need to have legislation on these points. All 50 states have to regain the separation of powers definition that the Founders had. The Congress has to deal with term limits for jurists, the end of the absurd power struggle with Bush's jurists and the Democrats, and redefine checks and balances with separation of powers. The media, public, courts, all have to be on the same page with the same definitions of just who has what power. The battle will go on as it has since John Marshall and Jefferson. But, unelected jurists must be dealt with. Imperial judiciaries are more dangerous today than Imperial legislatures and imperial executives.

The end came: now what?

The end of the Terri tragedy came today, Mar. 31. Op-Eders on many sites, bloggers, all media outlets now have their scenarios played out. Whether for the Culture of Life or for Death or for something neutral if that can be said or written. The hatred toward Evangelical, Catholic Christians seems to be being blown into a real epidemic. So now what? It seems to me that state legislatures, the Congress, and every thinking family have to deal with not only these life and death issues but have to think seriously how to deal with out of control courts and judges. The Left , of course, will not agree. Until, of course, their experiences in courts gore their oxen.

Elective judges, term limits all these points now have to be considered. Living Wills, trusts, and Powers of attorney have to be discussed in logical families. Someone has to deal with the bio-ethics questions. Someone has to deal with the legislative questions and soon. The pols who take on these questions must be brave and resolute and coalitions between the left and right may not be out of the question on some of these issues.

These political, moral, and ethical issues must be addressed before the next circus of horror and death occur. And separation of powers must be redefined for the public as well as for the politicians and the media. The amount of false news, horrid interpretations, and lack of clarity must not happen again or we will suffer this crisis over and over. And the courts must be put in their historic place not in a place of Imperial Sovereignty.

Op-Eders I trust

This Easter season is filled with news. The Pope's last days. Terri's last days. Indonesia's 'last days'?????? Politicians' last days??? Liberals and conservatives alike seem to have been co-opted by many viewpoints which don't fit on the ideology timeline. Still, there are many columnists that I trust when reading about politics, religion, the culture wars and that includes the blogosphere. Of course, there are some commentators on Talk Radio that I trust and they too write stuff. Even on News' programs, there are commentators and writers who get it right from my perspective. By now, bloggers , listeners, readers probably know all the people that I will cite. For years, as a political science teacher in high school and in college, I have urged that writers and commentators honestly put their ideologies down on their 'by-line'. That way, readers and listeners could actually know where their bias lies. After all, all writers and talkers are biased with one conceptualization or another as their intellectual, religious, cultural, and political foundations and points of view! I will even go back a few years in case readers do remember the battles from ages ago.

I will just list some writers and / or commentators and see where they come down to in the reader's estimation. William F. Buckley Jr. was the first writer, commentator who influenced me when I was 15. I am now 66. Ralph DeTolendano, James Burnham, Robert Ruark, Allan Drury, Max Frankel. As years went on, National Review writers naturally kept me up to date with conservative thought. I rejected liberalism when I was 15 and never saw any reason from then on to change my mind. In fact, the years have cemented my views over and against liberalism which I think is a virulent disase of the soul.

After the Goldwater years came the Reagan years. New writers and commentators arose. People like Dennis Prager, Mike Medved, Rush Limbaugh, today's blog-guy, Hugh Hewitt. I love Mona Charen, Peggy Noonan, George Will, Bill Sammon, Ann Coulter. I like some of the God-bloggers though they do not seem to have as much influence as the people above unfortunately. Today's secularism seems to obviate the God-bloggers except for a special niche. Prager is the closest to having influence on people both religiously and intellectually. Sean Hannity is a new commentator with some clout I respect. Rich Lowrey, John Podhorez, David Victor Hanson have been recent writers with some good philosophical undergirdings. There are many websites too that can help students and seekers.

If the Left would do the same thing without apologizing that they were liberals instead of using the nonsensical term, 'progressive' as if they were Teddy Roosevelts, people would be more understanding of where they really stood on issues. But so far, few do with much oo- umph. The Nation is of course one exception but rarely do you see the lefty politicos admit they are LIBERAL. They know they have to hide that word or people will suspect them of being the loons they really are!

Death winning in the Culture War??

Debates going on in the blogosphere on life and death are at high intensity. Left and Right are hysterical and passionate at the same time. There is a slippery slope in all these rants. Is death winning? Is life winning? The President and Gov. Bush and Tom DeLay and Senator Santorum are blasted as partisan Christian nuts. Of course, the Left is pure as the driven snow and has not agenda but 'the rule of federalism and law.' That they have not been fans of federalism before doesn't stop the MSM from ranting just how dangerous these state righters are and how looney the Right Conservative Christian GOP is becoming. A veritable tyranny: Nazi dictatorship. The Left , of course, is protecting the Constitution. The judges are not lefty wingnuts but 'moderate jurists' who really are Republicans underneath. The NY Times OP-Ed forums are filled with fulsome lefty rants and chants about how evil the Righties are and that Christians are the downfall of the Republic. Bushies are evil. The judges must be obeyed since they are the law. Congressional interference is dead wrong the media screams and polls show that as the public's will. I wonder how it will all play out with time passing, records being analysed, people coming forward to make reasoned arguments on the side of life over death. The MSM is now proposing that the Pubs will lose big in the 2006 elections because people realize how evil, holyroller, and extreme these Pubs are! If that is so, death wins over life. Yet, today, the President WRONGLY agreed with Fox of Mexico to protect ILLEGALS coming into our nation. Wow! We protect law-breakers but not our own citizens. We protect whales, squid, alligators as Rush avered today but not the helpless. The stunning thing is that if Death wins over Life, conservative Christians with GOP leanings are put back into a second class citizen status. They will be shunned from public discussions, law, debates, legislation, and voting rights. The Left will be gleeful if they can brand the Right nuts over Life. If this is so, darkness will envelop our entire nation. And oh, we will not be able to militarily defend ourselves or others if Death wins. Because, freedom and liberty and life are dangerous. Will we see a time when our own convenience and safety wash out any moral, compassionate, freedom-loving citizens who would fight to preserve life by dying for our nation? That too is part of the Death culture. Fear of even preserving our own freedoms because we might die.

I suppose all Christians and those interested in a culture of life rather than death have been torn over the Shiavo case in Florida. Pubs and Dems have debated the issues and the Dems seem to be a bit heartless while making many legal points. Unelected judges once again seem to be involved in this mess. No clear defining of a living will also is part of the mess. Doctors, family, religion, politics , media bias, ideological spin is all part of this mess.Even adultery, kids, abortion, so-called 'right to die' ethics seem to be part of this mess. I wonder what the rush was to kill this woman?Should we follow the money? Is their a trail? One wonders if Bob Wexler, Henry Waxman and Barney Frank fear God! One thing is for sure, why not stand for life unlike the Dutch?! Why not err on the side of life and not the bias of doctors, lawyers and unelected judges? Who knows how this will turn out?! But, it seems that people think no one should bother about life and death issues in polling information. Perhaps no one really understands these issue or do not want to. I just have not seen any written confirmation from Terri that she wanted to die when or if she was in her condition. People do get better and miracles do happen. Why not give life a chance? Perhaps people are just too inconvenient. I have been guilty of that motive and I rue the days that that has come up with me . Almost all those times have not been in a life or death crisis. Some have. This one with Terri is one of those times.

NONE DARE CALL IT TREASON

Some remember a far out book by Stormer called None Dare Call it Treason back in the '60's. It blamed a lot of foreign policy messes on liberal Democrats but tended toward the conspiracies that nowadays mark the fever swamps of the Lefty Dems like Moore, Sean Penn, and Susan Serandon and Air America. For the last 4 years the MSM, the LA Times, NYTimes, Washington Post, Boston Globe and varied members of the press, the Democrat Senate and House have made malicious , false and almost un-American statements about Bush, our military, the war against Islamofacism, democratic capitalism, corporative capitalism and varied Republican, Christian, conservative and Presidential causes. Some of the hate speech has been revolting ala Teddy Kennedy, Moore, Move-On.org and others. Some press stories have been equally appalling, unGodly and undermining of American status in the world. The NYTimes , Washington Post and LA Times have been three outlets which frankly remind one of the reporter of the NYTimes Walter Durranty during the '30's who glorified Stalin and the Commies. CNN has not been without its anti-American spin just to get stories. The NYTimes unwittingly today is reporting that , yes, Iraq had WMD's and may have been looted! Looted??? Or moved? The Washington Post had a silly editor who made comments to a Red Chinese paper blasting Bush and American hegemony in the world and decrying our influence , power, military strength and actually calling for equity by reaching out to our enemies to fill the breach. One nowadays can get a debate about whether the MSM is lefty but after these two stories, one is reminded that only the MSM and its lefty dolts who follow it slavishly don't know the outcome of that debate. It is not only Left , it veers toward anti-American bias at its worst. And remember, we are in war-time. An article today even asked the question if this is WW IV we are in. I wonder how Americans will think about the MSM when and if these two stories are fairly reported? And oh yes. As the Easter season comes nearer, the MSM usually tries to report how Christ and Christianity is really a myth and that the disciples stole His body. And when these stories come, will anyone really think that the lefty media doesn't have an agenda. To undermine not only our foreign policy but our whole Judeo-Christian Western worldview of values. For me, this is a last straw. The debate is over. But, none dare call it treason.

Easter, resurrection, for us and the USA too??

Can you imagine that we are already in the Easter season? Unlike the Christmas season, decorations etc. do not play a part in the event until the Resurrection Day, Easter Sunday itself. Christians are sad, joyful, cry, are thankful all at the same time in this season. That too can be said for the events, season, people present in the world's scenarios today in the USA. The Political and Religious Left have been wrong so many times over the last 60 years when leading our nation that one wonders if Resurrection in those events ever comes into play in their world view or philosophy of life. Freedom, democracy, optimism, liberty and even a new religious view of where people can go , become and innovate has been taking place in the last few years. It is the Easter-time of freedom for many who never have had a chance for this liberty and rights of human dignity. I believe that Christ alone is the initiator of freedom and salvation. I am praying that politically as well as spiritually humankind will be entering into a time of Easter joy, salvation, freedom and new life for even those who have misinterpreted God, have lived lives of fear and hate and who now finally are looking up for the first time in their history. And not only in the Middle Eastern area but in the USA too.

Francis Schaeffer and the Godblogs entrace

On Mar. 3, Marvin Olasky wrote a column on Schaeffer and his 1980's analysis of why Christians should not stand idly by as secular socialist liberal humanists ran the show culturally, economically, religiously or governmentally. I remember those days and in fact taught a seminar from Schaeffer's How then shall we live. It was well attended at a small church and we had about 60-70 people each week debating his issues. Godblogs today are filled with not only theological debates but with domestic and international foreign policy issues. Schaeffer would have approved. On every issue just in the last 4 years, Christians should and must have had some input. When they stay in their own baliwicks and do not want to enter the fray of everyday life, they go against everything Schaeffer advised in the 1980's. He wasn't interested in a theocracy and neither am I. So many far Right Kingdom types might but most Evangelicals and other stripes of Christians along the Left-Right time line, political line and social line are not. But, they do want Christian input into our daily affairs so that secularists of all stripes do not corner the market on ideas, politics, policies and legislation. In fact, I do not want Wahabi Islam to have any influence on American life. None. I do not want communism, socialism, Nazissm, any form of Facism to have any influence. I don't want an International flavor to influence our Court decisions as just has been done in the recent SOTUS decision to ban capital punishment for 17-18 year olds. This nation is arbitrated by the American Constitution not Sharia law, French or Dutch or Russian or Communist Chinese law. Apparently the Court , at least 5 justices did not agree. If Godblogs, Christians, people with respect and honor for the Judeo-Christian Western Civilization world view do not intervene in daily decisions, I suggest this nation will go the way of a secular humanist socialist Europe which is slowly and inevitably being shaped by Islam and other non, un-American influences.

Men , ministry, mission, and materialism

For some reason this blog did not get published. So here goes again. Saturday, I met with some men at church. We have merged with another church. It is difficult to get men to speak, pray and to share. But, we are trying. After all Promise Keepers finally came about. But, after traveling throughout the world, I have found so many churches filled or let us say, populated by females not men. Men have seemingly in areas given up their spiritual leadership roles. Latin America is much like this except in Pentecostal churches. Europe is now hopelessly un-Christian unless evangelism explodes with God's power. Only 4% of Europe are born again. Wow, the home of the Reformation, is now secular and humanist and socialist but not undergirded with the Judeo-Christian Western Civilization values that were in all of their fellow states. Now, the EU Constitution has eliminated this above term from their mission statement if one can call that a mission statement! Prince Charles in England has said he would no longer defend ' the Lion of Judah' if he has to say the words all kings and queens have spoken since 1066AD! Only in Africa and other areas where persecution is taking place have men stepped up to the plate. America has many male leaders but I remember a time when Aimee Semple McPherson and Katherine Kuhlmann came to power because men crept away. Perhaps they gave false leadings but men could have and should have spoken up. Today it is politically correct for female ordained pastors. It is so in the Assemblies, Pentecostal, and Four Square churches and naturally in the mainline denominations like the Methodists, Presbyies, and Episcopals. The Roman Catholic church is being jarred by this effort. And what would happen if this Pope,. who is into Maryology, would proclaim Mary Co-Redeemer before he retired or died???? Men seem to think materialism and God are their choices. But, God loves the poor, men, women, Jew, Gentile, rich or middle class. Why not bring Jesus into all these categories and live one's life as mission to rise above one's level. Character can be formed but one must turn to God as a man to relish life, aid people, serve humanity and not just make business one's business. After all, Scrooge was told by Marely, when told he was a good man of business, "business, mankind is our business!"

The Godblogs

There are many Godblogs nowadays. I like this new way of discussing theological, cultural, Biblical issues that can have a wide-range of attitudes, research and faith. Lots of books are out nowadays too. Almost too many to digest. One creative writer, Mark Buchanan has been made availible to me by a friend who has MS and is a wonderful , faithing Christian father and husband. It is about how Wild rather than tame, our Creator God is. How dynamic, scary, unerving God is. As a conservative guy, I admit I am afraid of this scary God but I know He is good, just and caring. But, I have buts too. Mark is trying to convince weary Christians that this Wildness of God can bring peace, contentment, true faith. He calls it LEANING INTO GOD. I really like this terminology. I rarely lean into God. I have bits of faith on many issues, stands, debates, events, communication, personal contacts but leaning into God ala Jeremiah, Isaiah, Job, Joseph, and of course Jesus is not always my daily connection. Yet, this is what we Christians must have to not only please God as Hebrews contends, but to live life to the fullest in the wildness of God's love , experience, and vision. I need that for me and for my wife. I need it for my step-family, my grandsons (3) of them. I need it for friends that I love but who will not for many excuses even bow their need to His death, resurrection, and forgiveness of their sins and a promise of eternity with Him. I have tried to share that and they keep saying they know I am serving God but they feel, feel, feel they cannot go all the way with Jesus. I love them and while I do actually cry and fear for them, I can understand a bit of their drawbacks. Mark does too. But, he plows on with the dangerous thrill of trusting the God of the Wild. Heck, I need to do it without fear and am asking Jesus to save these friends of mine. I have 3-5 of them in the same boat. I trust Jesus for salvation, service demands, aiding the hopeless yet I know I am not living in the Wildness of God. I am reading this book and asking the Creator-Saviour God Jesus to break down any hedges so I can go out into this wild event and affair of total faith. Faith in salvation is one thing. But, trusting as one jumps off a building waiting for God's hand to catch him is the hedge I need broken. My bet is , many Christians are in my boat and will not admit it. Cancer, faith, Wallis and frustrations

There sure are a lot of disappointments in life but a lot of joys too. If you believe in the sovereignty of the Lord God Jesus Christ as I do, it still may frustrate you when friends die, get sick, or in this case for my blog today, gets cancer. Three times! A valiant lady in my church, Marcia Jimenez has had cancer now three times. She beat it twice but now has only a 30% to beat pelvic-kidney-uterine cancer this time. My frustration is this. Every theologian has discussed why bad things happen to good people. We believe God is in charge of everything. What I want to see is the per centages to even up! I want the Islamofacists to get cancer and die. I want murderers to drop dead of early heart attacks. I want child molesters to fall apart. I want rapists to be riven with oozing sores and cankers. I am tired of good people dying young as our military people while villains like Castro go on and on. And when I hear someone say, well the villains live longer so they can get God's grace and a chance of salvation, I retort: Oh yeah, how many of these tyrants ever has turned to Christ. None. Then I hear Jim Wallis trying to tell the public that good ole liberal Democrats are the real spiritual people because they want to help the poor, hate the rich, are anti-war and it takes a community to care and make people happy! Baloney! Individual responsibility is called for not excuses. We do take care of the poor who want help and want to change their lifestyles. But, Dems are not so sure they want to take care of the unborn. They are afraid to risk alieanation from their many, many core groups of dysfunctionals and would never dare hurt the gay, transgenders, union thugs that make up some of these cores. Now the Wallis inspired Dems are using spiritual lingo to convince people that they really are the true Christians. What hogwash! I believe in social justice too as do many conservative evangelicals. I want social fairness and I want a world free of war. But, I also know that evil exists and must be killed not tolerated. I wonder how the Wallis Dems will react to that? Dispite my grumbling and frustrations, I too will carry on to aid the sick, the desparate, the poor, and also the middle class and anyone in my church who is wealthy. Thank God for the wealthy. No one would have a job without them. Thank God for the middle class and their solid values. Thank God that He doesn't demand we be socialists to be Christian. I hope truly that liberal Dems find Christ. If they do, we all will be happier but I am not sure that that will make all those non-Christians who dominate the Democrat Party happy.

America is a great nation. When I hear the Ward Churchill's, the Russell Means, the Noam Chomskys, the Leftists of the nation in media, education, and governmental areas, I realize just how unhappy they are. How they hate America, God, our heritage, our history, our charity , our contributions to freedom, liberty, democracy, and capitalistic development. It is not only delusional, but mean spirited and demonic. Oh how they would laugh at that. They just do not know the Word of God when they dismiss why, how, when and how deep they believe certain lies. Satan is the Father of Lies. There is a USAToday Poll today and shows some optimism by the American people. I feel optimistic and today I am 66. I think the nation is going in the right direction. I pray that morality , freedom, liberty will be the undergirdings of our national foreign politics and policies for the rest of my life. Right now, no Liberal Democrat promises that. The danger of Hilary Clinton posing as a moderate on these things should warn Americans that they need a candidate in 2008 who is a real moderate conservative with a pro-military, pro-capitalism, pro-freedom-democracy-liberty policies. Condi Rice? Certainly right now, no conservative stands out. By my 69th birthday, I pray that a Condi-type is President. Today I am happy. I pray that America keeps optimistic and follows a conservative-moral-democratic-capitalistic party and candidate and decides that God is still the One who grants us all this optimism, wealth, freedom, morality and liberty. We need to remember this because that same God could take it all away from us if we fail in our duties, compassion, morality, and love.

Tomorrow is my 66th birthday. There is always tomorrow in America. We are the most tomorrow nation in the world. We believe in optimism and growth and newness and initiative. According to Barna, we are even a 'religious' nation though that is not Christian per se as born again. God, is a tomorrow God. To believers, there is always hope, grace, forgiveness and a chance to achieve not only for His Kingdom but for humanity's best as far as contributions to society in general. George Washington Carver for example did both. As a teacher and a pastor, I am a bit doubtful what impact my life has had on either kingdom. That is for tomorrow to decide. Liberals in general are not optimistic as long as conservatives are leading society. They not only blame Christianity, Judiasm, and the so-called Judeo-Christian Western world-view, but people who follow them such as our President and our new Secretary of State. What will Condi Rice achieve tomorrow? I expect alot. She is smart, wise, faithful to her God and nation and tough. Americans like toughness not wussiness. That is what girly-men liberals cannot understand. Crane Brinton, a historian, called such Americans, Tough-minded versus the soft-minded. Now, humans should have some mixture so compassion is part of their framework. In an evil, sinful world, both are needed. Tomorrow, we Americans do not need the horrid UN as it is now constructed. Tomorrow, we need not kow tow to the EU but we should reach out as Rice did yesterday to call for all of us march into tomorrow for democracy and freedom. In church-life, in business, in education, the USA needs to be always a tomorrow nation with strings attached from our heritage , faith, and good old common sense.

ID numbers, God, and tolerance

Thursday, Feb. 10, will be my 66th birthday. I am already in my 66th year but the 10th denotes nativity! That day may be more important to me than my nativity. The House is going to vote on Sensenbrenner's ID bill for all immigrants. Illegals are swamping the USA. It just is fact. There are probably 11 million illegal immigrants here and more coming. They fill our prisons. They swamp our schools, health services, public safety concerns and welfare necessities. Mexico is now trying to sue Arizona and Oklahoma for bills their legislatures passed to stem the flow of illegals and protect their borders. Mexico wants to appeal to an International Court in the name of tolerance and fairness. Sounds like the liberal Democrat Party when it disregards OUR CONSTITUTION. I have had it as a teacher, pastor, citizen and political junikie! The President is just plain wrong on this issue. On all other issues, he is plain right. But, not on immigration. We are being invaded and appealing to God or tolerance is not the correct policy. Enough is enough. This bill has to be passed and the Senate and its dunces should pass it too. And the President should sign it or the House GOP should disregard his immigration plans altogether! Bloggers should flood the House and WH with demands to stop any help for illegal immigrants. This is not about legal immigration. This is about illegal law breakers who threaten our culture and way of life as well as opening our borders to terrorist acts. That the media and President do not see this is very troubling.

Wed. eve., the President made a lofty SOTU speech which ramped up the 'culture' of life, the ideals of freedom overcoming tyranny in all the world, a new type of savings for retirement, a warning to the Old Axis of Evil that we will support the peoples of those outlaw nations when they want their freedom as Afghanistan and Iraq had. The compassion shown to the family from Texas has been questioned by liberal Democrats and extreme media lefties. Naturally. They just cannot believe that average people could be for freedom, God, free enterprise capitalism or just a hug from a brave Iraqi voter who happened to be a female. What ever happened to all that smarmy stuff liberal Dems used to screed about kids, female rights, voting for the underclasses? Where was their compassion last night? Funny how morality, values, God keep coming up whenever domestic or foreign issues are discussed nowadays. Funny how the lefty Dems are always on the wrong side of not only history but morality and values. The WSJ today opined in a great column , Just what do Democrats believe any more on the National Party Level? And my comment is, when do conservative, even moderate Democrat voters finally realize that the National Party has left them on values, morality, and issues of God, nation, the military and patriotism? Senator Zell Miller hit it on the campaign trail, did he not? A National Party , no more! In the Dem Reply, poor pathetic Pelosi and Reid looked old, out of touch, living in the 1930's, using values language that did not ring as credible. I noted too, that the comedian (an oxymoron) Roseanne Barr uses her jokes on the stump by calling the USA, Jesusland. Odd too that the Left doesn't get that the Judeo-Christian Western Civilization is not dead in the Red States. Only the elites believe that and they are Leftists which as Dennis Prager recently wrote, are WORTH NOTHING.

If voters, commentators, and the general public do not read Hugh Hewitt, they should. This guy along with Rush, Sean, Medved, keeps up with issues which the MSM simply will not show the public. Today, he cited a guy named Eason Jordan who called the US Military, killers and blamed our military for all the problems in Iraq. Now the Left generally does that on a daily level. But, this guy doesn't seem to have any type of ethics unless pushing a Moveon.org, Moore, Dean, Krugman, Ivins, and assorted lefties in the Democrat Party nowadays represents ethics on the Left! Hugh is over 20 years younger than I am. So are the other great Right Talkers. But, ethics is not usually what the media deals with anymore. In fact, it is ethical on the Left to destroy conservatives, Christians, Right Talk Radio, Anything Reagan-Bush, Republican or any remarks by Jesse Helms! I am always amazed how the MSM has been polled and we find out how Left they are, how un-Christian they are, how weary of the Constitution they are, and how like the old fellow travelers of the Left during the '30's,'40's, and '50-80's they were and are now in 2005. I remember those days. I was born during the Depression, remember WWII and went to college in the '50's. The media , in fact, has always been anti-military, anti-Right, and thought all Christians were Elmer Gantry's! This guy Jordan is just another loser who is so delusional that his remarks just being brought up by Hewitt, should be able to destroy any credibility he might have ever had. And anyhow, slandering anything American, is , has been and will continue to be the ETHICS of the Left. Hugh, Sean, Rush are just too young to remember those halcyon days when the Left ran the Media without opposition, the Congress was in the hands of the Left, the University was already brainwashing students and continue to do so today. Jordan is just another anti-American ranter who has had an a priori view of our Military, Bush, and Conservatives from his inception as a so-called journalist. Hugh should not be surprised at the depth of the cynicism and philosophy of journalists on the Left. They are children of the Old Left, at least in so far as they have learned their ETHICS from the school of Socialism, Marxism, Europe, and more from the days of Mencken than say Robert Bartlett. Surely not from the Reformation or even old mainstream Christianity. To Jordan and nearly 85% of the lefty journalists today, THE ENDS REALLY DO JUSTIFY THE MEANS.

An Historical week

Wow! What a week from Jan. 23 to today, the 30th. My wife and I went on cruise to the Mexican ports we already have been to. Why? Well,we wanted a brief vacation from the every-day atmosphere of life in the USA. As we went to the dock, the Eagles were ahead of the Vicks , 14-10. I had my Eagles hat and sweatshirt on and was getting grief from many onlookers. The ship was nice, huge, and of course, not fat free. We engaged in 2 days of Art Auctioneering. What a surprise for the conservative duo and what a bill as we bid on everything coming down the line. Our house is so small that we may have to charge a fee as a gallery. The Eagles not only prevailed but the fans didn't even boo the media!I guess I am happy and tired and silly. Silly because I spent so much money on art that I will only hand down to the grandkids as a gift someday. Still, I will, by the grace of God get to see it for awhile and so will my wife and friends. The week also saw an historical event in the making as we sailed in the rain and wind. The voting in Iraq occured and as we got home a few hours ago, the President announced much success. More than 60% of the populace voted bravely and for democracy not autocracy or dictatorship. Funny too, that if we Americans voted in those numbers and if Democrat precinct workers could stop cheating and get the ballots right, we too could proud of our democratic efforts! What a brave group to go stand in line as RPG's could have blown them to their fate.Newt Gingrich on Fox made the comment that many including myself in my college class, that with this vote, Islamofacists, Islamic dictators, royals and even the liberal media will have to get used to people now demanding democracy, the vote, and freedom. The NY Times will be having a hissy fit over the vote as did John Kerry, the loser.Liberals must have gloom and doom for American as well as anti-terrorist interests or they are not happy. Perhaps they can come over to my house now and view my 17 new art works. A smile may come forth and they might even root for the Eagles over the superior and geographically located Patriots in the middle of the Soviet Republic of Mass. Who knows? They may even find God on this amazing Sunday.

Well, today, the snow hit the NE area of Philadelphia. Of course, that is where my long suffering Eagles are playing Atlanta so they can finally make the Super Bowl. If anyone reads these blogs of mine, they will know that Philly fans are overwhelmed with a black cloud of despair over their city. It even spreads to their fans , like me here in SoCal. I won't go through the history, but as one looks into the sky and sees the Creator God's handiwork, one is forced to utter, "Will we ever win the big one?" Can we not cry to Jesus, 'Enough is enough'. No city except Chicago and Boston gets near the horror and futility of Philly fans. I am 66 and can remember each championship any of their pro teams have won. The last one won by the Eagles was in the snow in the 1940's. Does God care which team wins? One wonders why Boston , so liberal , so secular has won in basketball and football so often , so arrogantly. My wife an I are going to Mexico in just 4 hours and I hope I can see at least a half of Eagles' superiority. But, I will not bet the house on it. We believe that God sees the Sparrow. He counts the hairs on our head. But, does he have any empathy with Philly sports fans? What a theological conundrum. Even the hated New York wins over and over and over. And Europe, which is 96% secular in all its dealings still beat American teams in hockey, skiing, and assorted other winter sports. Sure, athletes sport crosses nowadays and even call out to Jesus. But, that is no assurance for a Philly fan. No theological genius has ever attacked this question on sports teams, crossing oneself, praying, lighting candles, or having prayer rallies and shown if they work at all. Would CS Lewis have tried? How 'bout Spurgeon? How 'bout even Franklin Graham or Franky Schaeffer? Just once , I would like to see an evangelical commentator take this on and say, you bet God cares what sports' team wins. Or He doesn't care as long as players follow Jesus. I will go with that. But, as a life-long Philly fan, my heart is in my throat as the game nears. Will it be this year? My heart says yes, my head says, Are you kidding? What Philly fans really know how to do is to suffer. That theological question, we have nailed!

The Speech, God and the ongoing hatred toward Bush

The Speech, that is what it will become as it did for Reagan. President Bush made a lot of points that Howard Fineman on MSNBC was stunned about. Chris Matthews was weird, bitter, and tried to pose as an objective commentator on it. Howard and Chris were on together and simply did not seem to really understand where W was going. Today, Hillary Clinton was in Boston talking about God, and charities based on faith. Gee, wonder why? Freedom was dealt with for a global refreshing. It was a stern but uplifting speech. Howard wanted more unity. I think Bush preached unity when we go back to the Founders and deal with liberty, character, and self-imposed restraint. Did the President kow tow to the politically correct? Absolutely not. Barbara Boxer and the rest of the Democrat Mooriacs are silly little twits who know nothing of the American character. Bush's speech proved that beyond a doubt. God was not a throw-away line. Without a God and a faith that sees a universal freedom in that faith, humanity is but a shell of itself according to the President. He is correct. The Left hate him for it. The NY Times OPEd fora is filled with rage, absurdities, hatred for these American character references. There is no way to debate these lefties. They must see America and Bush to fail militarily as well as domestically for them to regain their power. There was a line which read with understanding said that the unwanted were not throwaways but persons with dignity and nobility as just humans being born. The Left will hate that line too. They will hate the line on self-restraint. They will carp that freedom and liberty is not the job of America as it is spread universally. After all, who are we to spread democracy and liberty. Don't tyrants have their rights too? The Left has become so pessimistic that their old view that at least Facist tyrants had to be deposed seems to have disapperared. They cannot even agree that Islamofacism is evil. The Speech was optimistic if not cosmic in its application. I do not see it fulfilled in 4 years and Americans often get tired of ideals. But, this was a call to spread freedom, protect America's borders, and never give up on liberty as generations roll by. Goldwater, Buckley, Reagan, the Founders, even IKE, Truman and National Review founders will find this speech familiar. It was not Wilsonian. It was Reagan and Truman and Jefferson and Manifest Destiny all wrapped up in one. I loved it and wish he had been even tougher on Islamofacist terror by name!

God and the Inauguration

Mike Barrone writes today that the Bush initiation Thursday will be like Woodrow Wilson's. I pray not. I pray that the President will include God in his vision. But, Wilson's vision was a failure which undone, led to the messes geographically that helped cause WWII. Wilson , as has been cited by many authors, had a Christ complex. Bush does not. Bush is a believer who takes his faith seriously and with morality puts that faith into action with many policies. Bush like Wilson is an idealist. But his ideals seem to be based on a bit more reality. Many will disagree of course. Liberals think Iraq and the war against Islamoterrorism is a mistake and already a failure. But, Bush was right about Afghanistan. He may be right about Iraq after its election. And if democracy of a type does slowly come to the Middle East, he will be right to stand up against these Islamofacists. Wilson went to war against the Triple Alliance with no dreams of conquest but he did think that when it was over, that Europe and America could run the world with a League of Nations and that unified in ideals of democracy and freedom would settle all problems. Wilson could not understand the dictators that arose. He could not see that Europe , which caused WWI would also by pacifism help cause WWII. Bush does not believe in pacifism. He does not now believe that to defend America , the US needs Europe and all its problems and socialistic pacifism to spread democracy. He would like cooperation but he will go it alone with 27 others, if need be to defeat terror. All the while, he is not afraid to follow his Judeo-Christian God in the person of Jesus Christ. He even thinks that faith based charities can do a better job helping people rather than dependence on the federal government. When Bush gives his speech, I hope he stands tall as he has already done. I hope he does not kow tow to Europe, the UN or the MSMedia. In fact, I hope the President mentions God and says that freedom is God's way for the USA and the world as well.

I know it is easy to quote conservative sites on a daily level but it is finally IN to quote these blogs and sites because they are so right as well as Right. Take a look at P.J.O'Rourke's sally into humor and the bitter Left today on Weekly Standard, the 1/24 issue. He is a riot as usual and takes on the Speech that Bush should give on Thursday. We do need a speech that does not kow tow to the Lefties. Not one wit. We need a speech that touts freedom, liberty, free enterprise, democracy. We need a speech that mentions that we need to defeat Islamofacism not just the amorphous terror! These are my points but P.J. might agree. He deals with the play on the 10 Commandments that the Prez could use. We need a speech that disses the UN, the jerks in Europe, and the socialists all over the globe. We need a speech which encouages Americans to believe that America will prevail and not crumble as the Left contends. We need a speech that says the liberals in America are domestic enemies when they always blame America for everything in the world that could, will ,does go wrong. The President should reach out to people who think America is great, free, will defeat terrorists of all stripes, loves the military, loves our blessings, wants education to benefit all who really will work and not just sing hip hop and join gangs. We need a speech which wants a culture of civility, sure, but not based on political correctness. We will not get such a speech. But, we need such a speech.

Indonesian ingrates, murderers Pt. 2

I posted an opinion of the fact that the extreme Muslims as well as the Govt. in Indonesia wanted all US military, and aid to end by Mar. 31. Now today, they are demanding more. The US military is trying to get out as quick as it can. The Muslims are complaining that Christian aid workers are actually spreading the Gospel of Jesus. My my. Ann Coulter mentioned last year that extreme Muslims would benefit if the entire region accepted Christ. Natually the libs and media went wild. Still, the Gospel is far better for all those suffering people than the Al Queda guns, their doomsday future and their culture of death. Again, the media and libs will disagree . After all, these Muslims there are really fine people and should not expect their religion or culture to be challenged by Americans. Really? In the last 5 years, Indonesian extremists have burned down Christian churches filled with Indonesian converts inside. The Govt. has not stepped in to stop this slaughter. A colleague of mine here in SoCal, Pastor Jeff, has gone to that area twice in the last 5 years. He went there to bring aid, money, clothing, Bibles, clothing. The Govt. allowed him in with many ,many restrictions. He did get some aid to Indonesian Christian churches. Pastors were in prison just because of their faith. Muslim extremists rule the day there and yet, Christian churches still prevail though under extreme pressure and violence. Frankly, it is time for the US military to leave there. As for aid, unless the Govt. there can give an up to date accounting where , to whom , why, the money goes, aid should stop. The Aid groups themselves plus our govt. should also give the American people an account of those funds.

Indonesian ingrates or just Islamofacist strategy?

Today's media reported on some of their back pages that the Indonesian Govt. demanded that all US and other nationals, the military, and aid groups be gone from Indonesia before Mar. 31. When 9/11 occured, Indonesian Islamofacists rioted in the streets and called for a jihad against America. One wonders if Sri Lanka or other areas with Muslim majorities are as ungrateful for American aid and want to kill and create jihads against American interests? I wonder how much more compassion Americans will have for Muslim nations if their jihadist extremists continue to dis America and perhaps begin to co-opt aid for their own uses? Would you not like to know just where all these billions are going? I would. Where is the UN aid going? I trust World Vision and Save the Children but not the UN. In fact, I think the US should tell all of us who gave just where US aid agencies spent on this aid. The time is coming that Americans are just going to say, you know when we give we don't expect kow towing but a nice thank you instead of jihadist threats would be nice. I think,personally, it is time for the aid to stop unless we get an account of who gets it, where does it go, does the government in these Muslim nations drain it off, and what agencies can be trusted to get the aid to the suffering. We Americans are the most charitible in the world. But, we expect our families, our churches, our local, state and even national governments to be somewhat credible in accounting for our giving whether it is voluntarily given or taxed!

The NYTimes caught in swamp fever

I know that this is nothing new to bloggers or readers of varied websites. But, for over the last 3-4 years, the NY Times has given up all hope or appearances of objectivity and printing all the News. It is now , as all know, all the news that fits their leftist perceptions. During the last campaign , The Times became a DNC poster boy for propaganda and Kerry must have assumed sainthood for all the blessings and prayers given to him by the Editorial Staff, the Op-Eders and the posters on the varied forums. It is to the forums I write now. The Op-Ed forums have 7-8 regular writers , their op-eds and reader responses. For a while, I posted there as did hundreds of others. But, lately, well over the last 4 years, the swamp fevers have inundated the posters from the Left. If the Right has some trogs and neanderthals on the fora, the Left has filled its cart with Marxists, anti-semites, America haters and people who cannot find anything to praise America about unless it has to do with some whacko making a film, doing some artwork, writing a column in some non-read commentary or having appeared on TV to denounce anything Conservative, Christian, Reagan-Bushie, or Republican. In fact, the charges have grown so ferocious that even a blaster and nailer like myself have gotten tired of trying to deal with charges that America is now a Nazi state, our military is worse than Saddam, and the President is knuckledragging and stopping freedom every minute of his life. If the general public could view the fora on the Times or letters to the editors on any lefty media outlook on the Net as well as the printed page, one would think this nation was doomed and the End Times were already here. Naturally, the Left doesn't believe in God, judgement, or good and evil unless they can twist it to tie America in knots. Frankly, I am sick of it and tend now to click into these fever swamps for a minute or two and then go back to reality. To see how much hate there is on the Left is horrifying but I guess they think that the Right is just the same. That it is not, that is , that part of the Right which dominates intellectual, media, university and just average voters has been well documented by better conservative writers than me. But, it is time for the Right to tell its story and the story is that the Left is up to its hips in the fever swamps of conspiracies and it is hurting America more than anyone can guess.

Nature, Rossi, CBS and the end of days

It certainly seems that Revelation is becoming the blog of the new century! Nature has gone wild. From tsunamis to the Conchita mud slides in Ca., humans cannot stop the power of nature to change our own agendas. Earthquakes go on and hit already hard hit areas. Cheating in elections is not done by Republicans as cynical Dems charge but by Democrats over and again. Voters cannot trust their own governments to have free and fair elections. Repub candidate , Rossi, in the state of Washington, has been blindsided by cheaters and thugs in the Dem Party. Even the liberal Seattle Times admits this and they are furious with the Dem Party registrars who perpetrated this voting fraud. CBS proves that the MSM is just like the anti-christs of the end days who scheme politically to fool the public and lie about a good man. Poor Chris Matthews is furious over Talk Radio and its power to undermine the liberal anti-christs who deny God but sure as hell scream for morality as long as conservatives, Christians, and Republicans can be smeared! Frankly, I am sick and tired of the liberal elites who themselves will actually bring on the end times because of their immorality and amorality as they self-righteously proclaim themselves the arbiters of truth and the American Way of Life. I am sick and tired of these frauds supporting the enemies of America and even of a Judeo-Christian Western Civ. way of life as if they really know what is true and moral. Perhaps nature is a tool of God more than anyone wants to admit. Perhaps cheaters, liars, killers will be dealt with by a righteous God in the end days. I happen to think this is true as a Christian and a history teacher. It will be interesting and amazing to see if we really are in those times where we will see history worked out by a holy, judicial God.

Today, I read Victor David Hanson's article on NRO and it was brilliant. It is cited on realclearpolitics.com too. Frankly, this should have been posted on every media site possible. I am so tired of the Left here in America and in the rest of the world, blaming America, Christians, and conservative for every problem that hit humanity. I am tired of being tolerant to Islamofacism because it might offend the UN, the EU or so-called moderate Muslims. Say, just where are those moderate Muslims anyway? Today in Iraq, another poor person was beheaded by terrorists. No outrage. No, the Dems in the US Senate are worried about torture by Americans. Ann Coulter wrote somewhere that liberal Dems hate America and call it love, paraphrased. Well, I am tired of them too. Oh and I can hear the secularists cry, where is your Christianity? Where is Hanson's compassion? Well that well has run dry friends. Some dolt on the NY Times OPed fora today was complaining that the 9/11 3000 dead was an old story and something we should not be bringing up. No, just get out of Iraq. It is hurting the USA in world opinion. World Opinion? I could care less about world opinion. 2/3 of the world is run by one-party dictatorships and thugs. Their opinion we don't need. The USA is leading the world altogether in aiding Muslims in SEASIA in that tsunami disaster yet we are called stingy. If the same thing had happened to the USA, none of the complainers would be rushing here to save SoCal!!!!The corruption of the UN and the socialist states in Europe aside from the old captive nations, is so great now that I say a pox on their houses. Nations who know what terrorism is , E. Europe, want democracy. Democratic-capitalism is the wave of the future if we can only keep liberals here in the USA and the socialists in the UN nations from winning the day. No, Hanson is correct. Rain, storms, dark windy night, days

The weather is horrid in Ca. today. The weather is horrid in Ohio too. It is not so good in the ME and SEASIA either. 'Wow.' More debate over whether God rules nature and how it affects humanity's status. On Regis today, a wonderful wedding took place between a young military man and a gorgeous wife to be. It was a Christian wedding , right on ABC. It was raining outside. The weather did not stop this great testimony to love and committment. Yesterday, it rained too in much of the NE areas of America. Babs Boxer cried when she and the Black Caucus tried to stop the electoral process. The weather did not stop them from looking like dolts and poor losers, sore-losers. Rain is pouring right now, but Talk Radio and the blogosphere is still working. It gives the public much to be thankful for in this time of MSM malarky. Flooding might be hard on many communities here in Ca. and the SWest tonight. But, Americans with skills will be helping people survive these problems. We are very fortunate to see just how many people can work, continue on , moving on in their lives dispite the weather. The tsunami disaster is such proof. American aid, charitable aid , aid from other nations and even the inane UN, is helping people overcome that desecration of life and property. The credibility of the MSM is being destroyed and we can all roast marshmellows on their carcass as Opinion Journal opined today. Even the rain and horrid weather cannot stop Americans from breathing the air of media freedom from rabid, loony liberalism gone wild without any competition or response. Even in storms, people are helping the less fortunate just as we are doing in SEASIA. What a great country and people! Though reading and listening to the MSM on a daily level, would never give one that estimate or presentation or reality.

Bloggers on the Right make an impact

Hugh Hewitt's new book, Blog, is a good way to build confidence on the Right that blogs have influence. One has to keep researching, writing, analysing, to make an impact. Many blogs are just fluff. Nothing bad about that. But, the serious bloggers who might be teachers, pols, lawyers, journalists in rural areas or areas in which most of MSM ignores, have to be encouraged. Christians on the Right should have a clearing house to click into and find the best news that affects Christians. Like a political realclearpolitics.com. Hugh suggests some on his site. But , they are individual posters. I would like a clearinghouse site so I could see the Best of the Web on Judeo-Chrisitian Western Values-Civ. world views on politics around the world! I doubt that anyone reads this regularly but if one with the means does, perhaps that person could set up such a clearinghouse. It would benefit all of us.

The New Year has started weirdly

There are many posts in other areas debating the issue of whether God approved of that dreadful tsunami. Mexico is saying that they now have a pamphlet for illegals to use so they can avoid detection and get in to America safely. The liberal Dems, naturally, are going to both deny a fair election in the state of Washington and Babs Boxer of Ca. and John Conyers of Mich. are going to try to stop the legal counting of Ohio in the electoral count on this Thurs. The UN is still trying to avoid its corruption tag. Democrats are using racial tactics which they deny of course to try to block another Hispanic from attaining high office in the Executive Branch. It is raining in Ca. and doing damage but the state always needs water so, what is up about that type of complaining?? The 9th Circuit Court in Ca. once again is using its liberal PC lingo to use PIMP as a utterance which is really a compliment. Can you imagine? The Left is still tring to outlaw Christmas. Over 10,000 Americans have been wounded in Iraq. But, news also says that great medical advances have saved lives there. Terrorists are still being defended by the Left, whether it is in Israel with Peres and the Democrat Party in the USA or the UN or naturally, the NY Times. On and on it goes with bad news seemingly outweighing good news. Still, with all of this, America is working more, getting richer, building more, travelling more, having fun more, even growing spiritually more. Though on that matter, I would hope more would accept Jesus Christ as their 'god of their own making.' Still, Americans have hope more than they had during the Great Depression or in the first few years of WWII and even in the first years of the Atomic Age. Sure there is division. Sure we have Red and Blue states. But, the fact is , Red states and their values are starting to influence much of American life. Thank God.

2004 has been a a year filled with horrors, wins, great miracles, some earth shaking, some fun, and cultural, economic, military ups and downs. Perhaps what one must say if one lives here in the USA, is that we all should be thankful. Of course, Iraq, Iran, N. Korea , China, Russia and yes, the French are a pain in the butt. Natural disasters are horrors. Hurricanes in Fla. and the shaker tsunami in the SEAsian area all shook the globe. Islamofacism is one of the world's great horrors, ongoing without seeming end. Still, if one lives here in the USA, one has to be thankful. The poorest here are richer than people in 95% of the Third World. We do not starve; we do have housing; we are not left in the rot of the misery index dispite the left's whining about America. Most of the poor have color TV, videos, and even a heater. The rich are very rich and they even provide jobs to most Americans! The President of the USA is a moral, tough, innovative, and strong character who knows that protection of the nation from Islamoterrorists is his first job. And yes, people are gripers and howl and whine. But, still most of us should be thankful. The economy is growing, jobs are up, health care is not in the worst shape dispite liberal cries of disaster there. People eat out more, have more junk in their homes, spend like drunken sailors, and even some of them go to church. In fact, George Barna has a new poll that shows people in Ca. , Oregon, Washington are more and more finding God. Yep, even in these socialist republics! We should be thankful. Education is not the high mark we need nationally but home schooling and private schools are educating at a higher rate of success. Our culture is a mess. There is no doubt that MTV, VH1 and the hip hop murderous culture of killing, sex, disrespect for women and authority in general, TV malarky like the Housewives sluttery presentation is bad for the nation. Yet, there are some good artists who do not desecrate Christ, some good writers, some good actors who respect their audiances. There are too many ethnic gangs who get a pass because of their color. Yet murder rates are slowly declining in some areas of the nation. Be thankful. The last election did show the liberal elites that religion, God, Christ, symbols are still important. The family is still in danger but many are now realizing that gay marriage is a disaster for our nation. American symbols are still important for many of us. So is our military which liberals tried to destroy along with our Intelligence agencies. Yet, we survive and are winning , if bloodily, a global war against murderous thugs like the Islamofacists. Be thankful. That should be a resolution for the New Year for all of us: Be thankful that we live here in America with all its faults. I would not trade my life for any others' in any nation in all the world! I am thankful to the Creator God of the Universe, Jesus Christ for all my blessings in 2004 and ongoing in 2005. Today, Hugh Hewitt, a great blogger and Talk Radio guy mentioned something that as a teacher over 43 years , I have taught. That is, for students ,readers, listeners, to the media and scribblers and talkers, to make sure that they tell us all just what political, cultural, religious, educational backgrounds that the purveyors of data have when reporting on material round the world that affects public opinion as well as intellectual knowledge. Sometimes, I think younger people like Hugh think that this is new. It is not. Buckley and the National Review over 30 years ago wanted this to happen. As a teacher, when assigning term papers or opinion essays, I always made sure that students tried to find out the background of their sources. The MSM should give this information without force so that they can actually be viewed once again as researchers. After all, teachers and parents should demand this in curriculum so that bias would be out in the open on all media presentations and reactions to said bias. For the Left to continue to deny it is biased is just a bald faced lie. Students as they do reading and research should already know when they become adults just what bias their papers, media, TV, radio, writers, and movies present to them so they can make reasonable, convincing decisions as to how to react, act, or think on weighty as well as trivial matters. It would change how our national consensus would evolve.

Disaster and Hope

Christmas joy has been replaced once again with worry, concern and sadness. Nature is very powerful. It can wipe out villages, homes, cities, and kill as many as 24,000 people as it did in the last day and one half in SE Asia. God cries many tears for his creation. But, people are crying more now in that forsaken area. There are however glimpses of hope. Funny how so many of those people and nations hate the USA. Yet, it is the USA and its many charitable concerns and its government which will send the most help. The Red Cross and agencies like Catholic Charities,World Vision, and other church centered groups will be aiding those poor people and their villages. Odd too, is it not, that so many of our elites do not trust those very charities and want to rely on government to keep our own people kow towing to their aid and instructions. While the pols feud, the faith based charities here go out and do good works which are far more instructive and compassionate than any government help. SE Asia will see that too as Americans respond to their tragedy.Amazing that liberal elitist Nick Kristoff of the NY Times had an article today on Sam Brownback, Senator from Kansas and a Christian who wants our compassion to be spread over many areas of the world. Liberals can't stand Brownback but better cooperate with his views since it has been the perception of Americans for 70 years that it is the Dem Party which is the party of compassion. All that has changed as Christian conservative compassion has been shown for these many years not only by Repub. pols, but by churches, groups with a conservative orientation. The Left speaks great volumes on compassion but the Right is actually doing it and Brownback is even trying to cooperate with the Left in the Senate to keep it up. What a change since the Bush revolution!

Christmas carols, politics, and joy

Every time this date comes around, I try to make sure I listen to Manheim Steamroller's Christmas carols. Silent Night is the best rendition of all time,I believe. It gives me chills every time I hear it. No matter the secularists or Barry Lynn, this version should be played in every venue possible throughout the USA. Our brave troops should hear it. Sec. Rumsfeld might have taken it with him today as he surprised the troops. A guy 70 years old who is a real patriot and a good Secretary with men cheering him on. The MSM hated it , of course, the rabid secularists that they are. One wonders if they really want the USA to win this war so they can crow over the carcas of their hated Bush Administration! Yesterday, the President put forward again, all 20 of his judicial nominees for approval. The liberal Dems must think of him as Scrooge right now. Actually, they are the Scrooges of our time, even distorting the Constitution on these nominees and the so-called 60 vote necessity on their approval. Grinches all. Dennis Prager today on Talk Radio was approving of how Christians and Jews together were singing carols to offset the horrid N. Jersey school system that banned Christmas and its carols. The Left, the Dems, the MSM, all think they are going to win on these issues. If the rest of the Red States do nothing, if the average American does nothing, they might be right. Stand up and call out for Christmas to be celebrated and carols to be sung. Go to church tonight to sing. Pray for the troops, the President, the Secretary, the school districts who are just plain evil, and ask for conviction and conversion in this divided nation. After all, no one really wants liberals, Democrats, or secularists to go to Hell. Better for them to be saved over and against their selfishness and ignorance and spiritual isolation. God is no respecter of person. He wants all to be saved. What a great time of year for this conversion to take place. And what a poke in the eye of the rabid, unconvinced Islamofacists. A united nation with God in its heart and righteousness in its actions. Even Hollywood would have to change! LOL

It is almost Dec. 25th

Now Dec. 25 is what the Left calls Christmas day. We have had Christmas a few times already this week. One with our Murrieta branch of the family. One at Knotts with our church family. And one today with Katy's mom and brother. We shall see if the Spirit moves anyone in the next two days to really forget the ACLU and assorted liberal secular humanists and just enjoy and worship the King. Meanwhile, you would think that as a pastor I would be worrying whether the day after Christmas, often called Lemon Sunday since few come to church that day, will bring Christians to worship. But, frankly, I am not. No, I am still worrying about the Eagles , TO, Donovan and dispite the fact 9 of them went to the Pro-Bowl, I fear no Super for them again this year. Oh well, my wife says I have no faith. Correct, I am a Philly fan. Still, look at the horrors of Iraq and still see a silver lining. There will be an election dispite the media here, the UN, the EU and the assorted cranks on the Left in our nation. It will go on as it did in Afghanistan. There will be violence but there would have been no elections in either nation if the USA did not go up against these murderous Islamofacists. Even in the Palestinian mess, Blair and Bush are hopeful for elections. What a difference! Would it not be marvelous if the ME actually had peace for at least a month?!! Could the God of the Universe actually pull off three miracles at the time? Could Iraq actually be free and have elected representation? And could the PALS actually bend to some common sense and accept Israel? Could the Eagles actually make the Super Bowl? I mean, Jesus' birth was a miracle and the above three points all could be too. I pray for them even though I am jaundiced nowadays. Especially about the Eagles!

TO,Christmas, and liberalism

Well, a few days ago I was posting about the problem of being a Philly sports fan. Sure enough . Disaster. TO is down, gone for the playoffs and even if the Eagles make the Super, probably gone for that too. Philly is cursed , wrote Stephen Smith in Philly. He is correct. Yet, I do believe that TO himself has more faith in the Eagles' chances than I do. Perhaps TO is a Christian. I know some of the team accept Jesus as Lord. Who knows? Perhaps, God will lift the curse! He has for mankind on sin, eternity and Hell. Why not Philadelphia??It is Christmas after all. It is His season of birth. Perhaps the Eagles will also have 'new birth.' Perhaps Pinkston will catch some long heaves by Donovan. Perhaps Westbrook will run and catch wild! But the curse still lingers in my mind. After all,AI scored over 50 points in two successive games and the Sixers only won one of them!!!!! Curse??? But, Christmas is still here. Dispite the media, the school boards, the ACLU, the liberals, Christmas is still here. Many of us will still go to Christmas services dispite the disaster of TO, the Left, Iraq, and the media hating Christmas.

News and football

OK, what is a pastor writing about news, football, politics and even Christmas? I mean pastors who are REAL CHRISTIANS should be writing tomes about theology, preaching, the Gospel and how Jesus is the reason for the season. True , all true. But, news is a bit slower since the election though of course the Islamofacists are still murdering people, getting support from the EU and UN and the liberal media. All true. Still, it is football at all its glamour , roughness and sadness and glory that I write about today. You see, I am a Philly sports fan. Have been since 1947. We poor dolts remember every championship season because they are so few!! This year it is the Eagles, pro-footballs long lived outfit from the 1930's till today. In the late '40's the Eagles won two championships. In '60 they beat Green Bay in a super bowl before the Super Bowl. Chuck Bednarik, Tommy McDonald, Norm VanBrocklin. I remember them all. Then I got married for a second time in 1980. My dad died and saw nothing of the Phils in the World Series nor the Eagles play Oakland in the Super Bowl of '81. The Phils actually made it in the Series in '83,93 too but of course lost. In fact, except for the Sixers in the '80's, '83 , no Phila. team seems to be championship material . Ever. We fans are cynical, silly, fearsome, fearful and waiting for our teams to explode or implode as they get nearer to a championships series. This year, the Eagles are close but for 3 years they have been close. Now FAITH, HOPE AND CHARITY ABOUND, OR LOVE IF YOU WILL. LOVE MAY BE GREAT BUT I WOULD LIKE SOME FAITH THAT THE EAGLES WILL ACTUALLY GO TO THE BOWL AND WIN IT! This is not an original epitaph or epistle of course. All Philly fans and media writers know the above and are in the same boat. Still there is the miracle of a Babe born in the Middle East and not getting blown up right away. A miracle could occur like that for Philly fans. I don't or rarely pray for my teams anymore. As a kid, I knew God was a Celtics fan and the Phillies, well they had black clouds all over their homes, schools, their kids, and their house of worship if they had any. I remember the good priests at Villanova and LaSalle praying for their teams. Most of the time , the prayers meant nothing but as with all Philly teams, two or three championships did occur. Still when one views the Philly sports history, one is amazed that fans have not broken all the 10 Commandments in one night or one year at least. Baloney on the guy who said these are the times that try mens' souls. Being a Philly sports fans tries one's soul every day, year after year after year after year. I do not want a relative to die as Dad did when the Phils won or the Eagles made the Bowl. But, I do want to live long enough to see some team make us all proud. And to wait for another 100 years!

The Left is making sure on university campuses, public schools, government buildings, Target, Macys, and other stores that the Holiday Season replaces the quote, Jesus is the reason for the Season. I am sick of these people. I am tired of the ACLU and Barry Lynn. These people are as much Christian as the Islamofacists, liberal Dems and liberalism in general. The religious left seems more in line with Swedish socialism or perhaps Cornel West or that jerk, Chomsky! I am tired of the media like today's Long Beach Press-Telegram actually asking people whether Merry Christmas is offensive! I am tired of Holiday. This is Christmas not Kwanza, not Holiday, not Sales-time. I am tired of liberals going back to the Crusades to show just how evil Christianity is. Instead, I want stories of how Christians have built schools, hospitals, hospices, libraries, colleges, and other charitable organizations. I do not want the usual anti-Christ stories that come up every Easter and Christmas. Hugh Hewitt is still having is blog deal with the Christmas Newsweek horror. Take a look. I send out Christmas cards not Holiday cards. I make sure the church gives only a Christian outlook not a multicultural fantasy which will take all religions into play. We are Christians not ittianity. Not Deists and tolerant for all but intolerant of other claims at the truth. Christ is the Truth. Period. And as far as offending Muslims, the Islamofacists, the Middle East, sorry but Merry Christmas to them too. Their ideology is wrong. Their religion is not peace as poor President Bush avers to keep the intellectuals happy. Islam is war and has been since 600AD. So Merry Christmas and please look at the Biblical account since your mortal spirits and mortal souls are in the balance!

The purging of Christ and Christmas

For 43 years I have taught in schools all over the nation. I have told students to be aware of the Christian holidays where the media will try to discredit the Jesus story. Whether it is Easter or Christmas, the media will put out a supposedly historical study of the life, death, resurrection story of the Messiah and debunk it with 'new' research. It happens every year, at least twice a year. As long as I can remember, and I am 65, this has been going on. The Jesus Seminar tried, in fact, to discredit the entire New Testament statements by Jesus Christ as penned by varied contemporaries and followers. It got to be so silly that by the time the Seminar ended its so-called research, not even the Sermon on the Mount was Jesus'! Hugh Hewitt has done a service to Christian as well as Independent readers who want to know the truth. I had seen the Newsweek article on Jesus and Christmas and had warned my college class last Friday, Dec. 10 to be aware of its debunking nature. MSNBC , naturally, picked up the Newsweek article. After all, the MSM in all its glory could not be less spiritual than the 'professional' detractors of the Bible and the Lord Jesus Christ. The Red States will look at the Newsweek article and say, who the heck is this guy? And when did he ever go to church, read the Bible or make an attempt to get to know the Jesus of Scriptures? The Blue states will chortle, write letters to the New York Times and blame all Christians for the Crusades, murders, and religious mischief and then go merrily on its way to attend Wickan, Kwanza, or Unitarian services to uphold their own self-righteous intellectual know-how. While at the same time pooh-ooing the silliness of Red Staters and their spirituality. Mark Roberts and others will and have defended the Biblical account of this glorious holiday and its Truisms. But, frankly, pastors like myself have been doing it in this nation for over 200 years. That secularists do not believe or like this is the format of the ACLU's amoral drive to drive all Judeo-Christian ideology from the scholastic as well as the social square. The MSM will go along with this Blue State mentality because it actually thinks that our Judeo-Christian Western Civilization foundations have been bad for the diversity and multiculturalism of this 'new America' this wish to conceive and perpetuate. Smearing Jesus , whether at Easter or Christmas , is nothing new . It just has gained acceleration as our nation is undergoing this cultural war which is dividing us on a daily level. Blue Staters will not read the Roberts' essays defending the Biblical accounts. Just as I will not read more secular hatred from the Post, Times, or Chronicle. All, by the way, just clones of each other in their effort to discredit our cultural foundational truths. When the United Methodist Church takes 'Onward Christian Soldiers' out of its hymnal and commentators like Dennis Prager can say that he has more in common with Evangelical Christians than Left wing Christianity (if that is possible), we know that our heritage is being defended by the best of minds like Prager, Medved, Roberts, Hewitt, even Rush, Laura Ingraham, Thomas Sowell, Larry Elder, Armstrong Williams, NOTE ALL TALK RADIO PEOPLE. The fact that even our seminaries are becoming more and more liberal, ala Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, Ca., which wants to be the 'Princeton of the West Coast'. is a sure-fire example of why citizens who want to defend the Western Civilization that the Bible undergird as well as educational choices, defense of the Homeland, defense of liberty, democracy, freedom and our Constitution, must join in not only with prayer and church support, but with intellectual creativity and drive to keep up on all the news and trends which would try to destroy this Civilization. It is a horror that the Main-Line liberal churches have fallen on such hard times because they chose to follow the Liberal Democrat views of the world instead of their historical roots. When Main Line churches lose 50,000 members yearly, something is wrong. This Newsweek article attacking Jesus and our traditions is one more example of moral degradation and intellectual vapidity.

Look, I love the Prez. But, some of his policies and politics really stink. One is drivers' licenses for illegal immigrants that is in this new Humintel CIA-Intel Bill just about being passed by the Senate. Second, today, it was reported that Bush gave $20 million bucks to the Palestinians to keep them afloat. Afloat?? I want them destroyed not afloat. The PLO is really who will get the money not the poor PALS who slavishly follow the ghost of Arafat. The PLO has been miserable for the people there but the media, the Left and of course the Islamofacists will never admit that. So Bush props them up??? Wow. 3rd. Bush and McCain and other Senators now say they support Annan and the UN. The same UN filled with thugs, thieves and scoundrels. The Oil for Food bit is alone the worst scandal for greed , money, and support for other thugs ever exposed. What the heck is wrong with these people? World views and the Big Picture?? Pulllleeeze. I have heard that for 60 years. We keep the thugs afloat like France, Germany , the UN, the PLO and we harden our hearts toward our allies, like Israel, Britain, and others in E. Europe. We allow France to have a veto power in the Security Council. It is time for the US to either reform the UN or kick it out. Bush is afraid to do that. Why? The UN is a worthless organization since it has one purpose: restrain the USA. That's it. At least the HOUSE GOP wants Annan to go and the UN to be reformed and reorganized. When will Bush get on board?? Sometimes, I think the Prez still is following last century's liberal view of foreign policy and only his democratic views for the ME give me hope that Bush is not Powellized!

Starting a new church and theme

Here it is Christmas time; yes Christmas not Holiday time. And in January, I will be entering my 18th year as pastor of Living Hope Church in SoCal. But, this time there will be a difference. I will be joined by a younger, dynamic and fun-filled friend, Pastor Don Waggoner to start a brand new work and ministry. We are merging churches. Now usually these do not work. Personalities, gripes from members, resistance to change, petty quarrels and non-spiritual oddities block mergers. But, this one will work since the pastors are on the same page spiritually and mentally. I hope people click into this blog from the SoCal area and will want to visit us. Though I am 65 going to be 66 in Feb., I feel young again because of this opportunity from the Lord Jesus to minister with a younger idealist; Don will be 44 in Feb. Look, even liberal media is starting to realize that the use of PC lingo for Christmas is just getting silly. The Left has been guilty of this and so has corporate America. Target, Macys, and others have banned Christmas. Schools , cities, parks have done it. There is going to be a backlash as there was in the Nov. 2 election. People are not going to frequent businesses that ban Christmas. They are going to be writing letters, op-eds, emails, and complaints to everybody concerned including the media. And they should. When churches finally go PC, there will be a civil war! Already liberal churches over the last 50 years have been losing membership in squads of disillusioned believers who want to know where Jesus, the Bible, sin and salvation have gone! Liberals hate this stuff of course. That is why they are liberals so they don't have to be committed to anything but causes, fads, and silly movements. To admit sin, believe in a holy God and son born in a lowly place to a poor family should be right up their culture, racial, economic, and class alley. But, then Jesus grows up. Not aborted. He grows up to claim Godhood and ask the world to be free from sin and death as he sacrifices himself for all of them. Not PC this sacrifice, this birth, this celebration. Un Uhn. So people invent holidays, Kwanza, Earth Goddesses, Wickans, other silliness with no real personal inner spiritual change. Easy to ban this Jesus thing when it speaks out against too much commercialism , sin, pride, greed, and idolotry. Thank God some churches, the President, some cities, some corporations still allow the Son of God to be celebrated as a festival of joy, fun, faith, food, and the future.

Nov. 27, a time for reflection

My wife and I put the Christmas tree up today and I had done some decorations in our church sanctuary. So, we are getting the Spirit both at home and at church. Less than a month till the Birthday. And today, retailers said that the public spent 8 Billion dollars on stuff. Having heard and read and listed the real reasons for Thanksgiving,now we come to the Christ of the Christmas season not Frosty or Santa.In church tomorrow, Sun., the first Advent sermon, candle, and traditions will be explained by me and others. Less than a month for the Big Day. And a bit over a month till the elections in Iraq hopefully take place. I believe most Americans, other than the hard Lefties, wish for free elections in Iraq and surely in the Ukraine. We all need Jesus' spirit to enjoy this season and prayers for those defending us to go out and buy all that stuff. Katy and I put up decorations as well as our tree. The dog and cat love the tree because while not real, they can snuggle under it. Well, on the church for Sun. I hope all will attend a church of their choice in this Christmas season. Even the ACLU has to be charged by all of us to respect Christmas and keep it unlike their ideologies suppose. In fact, every time we decorated, I was hoping a bell would ring with angels wings to show the American people the end of the ACLU, the Islamofacists, OBL, terrorism in general and a blessing for us all.

Thanksgiving, Advent, Target and the Lefty Dems

Well, here it is again. It is the Holidays as secularists like to call them. First, there is the politically incorrect Thanksgiving time of thanks to God via the historical time of the Pilgrims and John Winthrop's statement about the colonies being a light on a Hill, a new Israel.That , of course, rattles the lefty Dems , lefties of any stripe. There is that God-thing again.Thanking God just is not what Americans should do. After all, separation of .....oh you know what! The Pilgrims were astonished that God had saved them. They continued as did other colonists right through the American Revolution to thank God for what became the United States. Drat. If the Left could only do away with that fact. What is worse, is Advent. Now not all Christian denominations celebrate Advent officially. But, Advent is the preparation for the Christ-Child. Yeah that child who would be the Savior of the world according to that pesky Bible. My church in Ca. proclaims Advent till Christmas Day. We believe that it is an important tradition and factual way to proclaim the King of Kings. Oh I forgot, liberals don't like the term King or Queen for that matter. Royalty in this case is over all other Royals! Then there is the Target problem. Hugh Hewitt of KRLA in La. has made this an important issue. I wrote the CEO of Target to tell him banning the Salvation Army from collecting for the poor does not make Target look like a corporation of life, friendship or community access. Instead, Target is the Scrooge of the season. Then there is angelsoldier.com My wife and I just sent a set of packages to our military to a soldier who is our adopted soldier. It is the faithers of Islam who have been acting sub-human for quite a while now. Thanksgiving coming; will we be thankful?

OK the election is over. We are doing much better in the war in Iraq in Fullajah against the Islamos. The economy is picking up. Charitible giving is up , finally. Our church is merging with another church and we are moving along in confidence that God wants this to be a full service campus for our community. My wife and I love our 3 grandkids and it gives me experience in dealing with boys at a younger age than those I deal with in college teaching! Our lovely dog, Casey, an Aussie Border Collie has been recovering from a broken leg and doing well. She is a joy in our life. Both my wife and I have had recent health check-ups that have not doomed us! LOL We are seniors but still enjoying the creation Jesus gave us all. We love our house, our area, and even my losing sports teams! In the movie Scrooge, Albert Finney sings, I like Life. Indeed. Life is good . Sure horrors occur. Health, accidents, cancer, MS, divorces all occur but so many people I deal with have gone through those things with bravery that puts me to shame. We have a brave President. The Marines are 229 years old today. What a blessing! And yes, there are poor, people lacking health care, job losses. But Life happens. We have all gone through some of these blasts at our integrity and being. We are fortunate we live in a free nation with liberty so available that our poorest are the rich in 2/3 of the globe.

I waited for a week till I reacted to Nov. 2. My college class had a ball dissecting the red and blue map. So did I. My church people only reacted in prayer time, thanking God. I made no comments. Of course, I have been following the secular as well as the media reaction. I know how and what the Red state Christian, Catholic, Conservative Right is saying from Talk Radio, the Net and Fox. It has been amazing how the liberal Dems, liberal media, and pols from the Left, the DNC and other assorted Dem dinosaurs have reacted. One wag asked for a Blue state secession like the Civil War times. These guys are not funning. They are dead serious. Deadly serious is the word. And deadly sick in their minds and souls. Another character mentioned that perhaps Western Canada would join the Blue states. I doubt it. I rather think Western Canada , the Calgary, British Columbia bunch would rather just join the good ole USA. Anything to get away from those French poseurs in Quebec and Montreal. Personally, I would take them in as well as Mexico. That at least would solve our illegal immigration problem! LOL Amazing that the Lefties on sites, calling into Talk Radio still sound depressed and making M. Moore like statements that bring only derision in the Red states. The DNC is now asking as one dolt to take over their party, the hee hawing Howard Dean. Just what they need. Another Vermont socialist. I hope they do it and bring Harold Icckes in with Paul Begala. That should keep a permanent Pub majority at least until 2020. Of course, W has to do well with the economy, Iraq, and surely cannot waste any of his capital by giving amnesty to illegals. If he does that, Red Staters will be fleeing the party in 2006. Also, he better get some conservative jurists up before the revamped Senate soon. Are the polls driving you as mad and nuts as they are me? Pew,Rasmussen, Battleground, TIPP, all of them are crazed and driving me crazy. Some are Dem spots but many are seemingly fair. Yet, they drop up and down like the Dow. Then we havae the blogs. They quote or distort or analyse the polls as well as other blogs. Writers make unfounded predictions like landslide or runaway for either W or Kerry. That is as nutty as the polls themselves.It seems so close that cheating, fraud, or just more turnout should , could , might tip the scales . Right now I am as jumpy as a cricket. I cannot wait till this thing is over. I am praying for Bush to win but I fear it is so close that courts, suits, the media, fraud might settle this thing against him. Yipe!I tune into Realclearpolitics. com twice a day; once in the AM and once in the PM. I will continue to do it late Nov. 1. Then, I intend to take a Valium and sleep till I get up and vote on Tues. Zogby says it is close. The ads are about to end for Bush but not by Kerry. Kerry sent ads out to Hawaii of all places. More dough was sent to Arkansas and WVa. He is wondering if Dems are sticking with him. Bush is in Dem states asking for Dem votes. CBS and the NY Times tried to undercut Bush once more with a weapons story which Kerry spouted with no facts. ABC is keeping back an Al Q rant that might benefit Bush. What is going on? Well, the media and the Dems are now not only going to cheat with ballots but are using their collusion to upset the Bush applecart. Military ballots are being kept from Pa. by a Dem Gov. Yet Kerry is spouting how much he loves our military today on the trail. Fla. in a Dem county has 58,000 absentee ballots missing. They might be cheating themselves! The military supports Bush so Dems cannot have those ballots counted. Bush voters must go out and vote even if they are ill. No excuses either from all those Evangelical Christians who sat home in 2000. If Kerry wins, can you see the jurists he will appoint? With the Chief Justice ill, oh my! And a judge today in Ohio forbade Pubs from crying out against voter fraud. Oh those Dem-liberal judges. Bush must have a chance to appoint judges just to keep them from legislating against American common sense, morality, and the American heritage.

No wonder if Bush loses and Kerry wins, our population should fear Kerry appointing even more judicial legislators! This issue should have been pushed by the RNC in all its ads. No Kerry, No Dems, No Dem Congress should ever be allowed to appoint jurists. They will only overthrow every legal, every common sense, every moral law ever passed! Kerry uses an ad about another false NY Times-CBS story and now ABC doesn't want to air an Al Queda rant because it may inspire Bush voters. If Bush wins, it may be because truth actually wins for once in a political race. Or maybe God does trust him over Kerry to protect the USA. Or maybe voters were inspired to dismiss the media. I just hope all their military ballots get counted legally. By a 4-1 Annnenbery poll, the military support Bush. So many polls today, realclearpolitics.com, show this race too close for comfort. I pray that NJ, my adopted, beloved home state (being an ole Cape May boy) will actually go Bush. Pa., Ohio, Fla. are very close. Yet we know that voters know Bush is the better national security protector by wide margins. Unless our national security is protected, all other issues will dissolve in fear, blasts, killings, and Islamofascist murders. It is bad enough that Teresa did not think Laura had a real job. Just minutes ago, at 1 PM, she finally remarked that she forgot that Laura was a teacher-librarian. How nice for her. One thing I did today, to make a move to hopefully offset the major Dem voting fraud going on was to e-mail the DOJ and ask them to investigate all these frauds BEFORE Nov. 2. With the Kerry legal teams ordered to complain and sue on every close state on Nov. 2, this fraud could actually decide the election in the Dem's column . I pray not but no one knows just how and when the authorities will investigate and stop this fraud. With two weeks to go, every pundit is frothing at the mouth, trying to read the polls, and predicting everything from landslide (silly) to a race going to the House of Representatives(not likely). As I see it, there are reasons to vote for President Bush. 1. He will get to pick the next Supreme Court justices and many lower court justices. He and he alone , if elected, will stop liberal Democrats from legistlating from the bench on the great moral, political, economic and even foreign policies of the day. 2. He will keep the war against Islamofascist terror on foreign shores rather than here in SoCal. 3. He will actually try to reform both Social Security and Medicare without scaring seniors and yet preserving investment for a younger class of people allowing free enterprise once again to win the day in a dynamic growing economy. 4. He will continue the Reagan pride movement in our military readiness and provide our nation with new weapons' systems for the 21st Century. 5. He will actually try to do real Tort Reform which will encompass a Tax System overhaul that may lead to either a Flat Tax or a Consumption Tax. On the other hand, there is the fact that many duped in the nation will vote for John Kerry. Here is why they should not. 1. In the event that on the evening of Nov. 2, the horserace is so close that legal eagles will be dispersed to hold up the finality of the vote, we all will know that the Dems have cheated and vote fraud has won the day. This alone should keep undecideds from leaning toward Kerry on that last day. 2. Kerry will undoubltedly destroy any pre-emptive military strike, fear, and strength the USA has had under Bush and rely on treaties, negotiations, the UN, the EU, and other faux alliances thereby putting this nation in constant fear of ongoing war draining us year after year. In fact, there could be such a lack of initiative that the Islamofascist terrorist might try to wait out Kerry, hit and run, undermine the USA and slowing aquire nuclear weapons putting not just us but all of Western Civ. in great jeopardy. 3. Kerry will cut the tax cuts. 4. Kerry could control the selection of Court justices, even appointing either one of the Clintons, C. Dodd, Alan the Dersh or legal eagles like Thurow. The result would be the overthrowing of any Congressional or Excutive power when dealing with very sensitive issues on social, cultural, or even war and peace issues. Surely gun control, capital punishment, and a reversal of partial birth abortion. In a word, Kerry= Disaster.

Well today, Rush discussed a story about Thaddeus J. Jackson of Cleveland supposedly connected with the Ohio NAAC P Voter Fund who supposedly used coccaine to pay off a voter registration drive. In Mo. the black Dems are using pics that look like Pubs are burning blacks, hosing blacks, keeping black Americans from voting. Fla. looks like a Chicago ward during the Daley years. Colo., SD, NM, and Ohio are 4 states in which voting fraud has been on Net sites for weeks. What will the Pubs do? Will the lefty media cover any of this? Will Kerry display his FAITH by campaigning in even more black churches without bring down the IRS down on his asking for votes in those churches? Just how much fraud will the American voter take? Will Indian reservation be off limits as to checking just who is registered? Will Hispanic illegals, perhaps ME illegals get voting forms and turn the election in Fla. et al into a joke and a legal morass? It is sickening to me that the MSM will not give these frauds more coverage and put them at the foot of the Dem Party where they belong. Evan Thomas of Newsweek on Reliable Sources said over the weekend that reporters want Kerry elected and that the NY Times of course coordinated favorable stories of Kerry with his speeches. Will the GOP fire back? Will they also get their lawyers out to challenge all these Dem frauds? If not, this Nov. 2, 2004 will really live up to the name of the Stolen Election.

When pols make two utterances that risk social sensitivities on the same subject, it is often looked at as a plan. In recent days, Dems Kerry and Edwards have raised the name of Mary Cheney and have tried to use her sexual proclivities as examples of their social sensitivity while 'praying' to drive a wedge into the Evangelical base of the Cheney-Bush voting bloc. What has happened instead, while not in the usual suspects of liberal media bias, is to raise questions of ethics and good sense on the part of the two Democrats. If one peruses MSNBC, CNN and even Fox, there are raised eyebrows not at the Democrats, but at Cheney and his wife, Lynn. Keith O, a funny sports guy but a political dolt and shill for the Democrats has challenged the hypocrisy of the Cheneys by saying that Dick brought this issue up in August. CNN , of course, is faulting the Cheney responses not the Dem-duo gaffe. My guess is that no one on the Right is shocked enough to not vote for Bush. Probably there are some swing voters who may not like the Kerry ploy and may indeed vote for Bush along with other considerations. Not a vote was changed on the Left, of course. Perhaps some Middle-Western Dems, Reagan Dems, may indeed once more decide that their party is a party of power hungry flacks who will say or do anything, as they are also doing on the Draft, to get elected. But, one must know that these two are not exactly nice people. Children should not be the focus of any campaign, young or old. Even Clinton protected his daughter, rightfully so. The wedge will not occur except perhaps in the minds of decent voters who have not made up their mind. And my guess is, they will not look favorably on The Dem Duo.

How convoluted are the lefty loons? So convoluted that they are now accusing Karl Rove of planting the docs! Can you imagine Rove so desparate to do such a chancey thing? That is not his agenda, not his motivation, not his modus operendi. All he has to do is to put Kerry's record out there. That enough is good enough to destroy this horrid candidacy! The President today, Tues., spoke to the Guard Assoc. in Colorado. He got standing O's. We shall see how Kerry does on Thurs. My guess is that many now realize what a loser he is and will not tie their organization with his imploding campaign.

Swift Boat Vets

It appears that today, Aug. 10, finally some in the media decided to challenge John Kerry's Vet-Nam-Medals story that he has been propounding for over a year of campaigning. In his convention, Kerry made Nam the foundation of his challenge against Bush. Now it appears it under attack since vets who served with him on his own very Swift Boat are saying his wounds, his stories are not the way , not the plan , not the adventure that Kerry has blathered about for months. Of course, Lanny Davis and other DNC flacks have been on TV trying to keep serious questioning of Kerry. The DNC has even told nets not to carry Swift Boat ads nor should they promote the new book, Unfit for Command. Sean Hannity today has on both his radio show and his TV show decided to have authors, vets, Swifties on and tell their story. We shall see if in the next few days whether the major media outlets will cover this new adventure propounded by Kerry. Will the Swifties be dissed and murdered in print by the same journalists who tried to knock off Bush over his National Guard service?? My bet is that the Lefty media is so set in concrete to defeat the President that any criticism of Kerry will never be really explored. The Media wants to abolish the GOP if it can and especially Bush. The next 83 days is going to be filled with unbelievable hatred toward Bush. It would be interesting if Kerry had to explain himself for a few weeks and take the heat off the President.

The Race is on

Well, we now have the candidates battling over about 100 electoral votes according to the Rasmussen and Zogby polls. Newsweek, of course, has Kerry miles ahead which reminds one of their inaccuracy year after year. My guess is that the race is still very tight and that only a few votes either way will decide this race. I think , like many others, Dems and Pubs, that this is the most important race for nearly 50 years. Courts with Dem judges are a disaster. Defense politics and policies by Dems are a disaster. Higher taxes with Dem reps are a disaster. But, if the voting public doesn't understand this or see it, and if they think as Dem spinners see it , that the election is really about the Prez and not his opponent, Bush could be in real trouble. It is up to W and the Pubs to overcome the media bias, its hatred for conservative Christian Republicans, to trumpet not only this Administration's accomplishments but Kerry-Edwards liberal voting record in the Senate. Bush must show Kerry's anti-defense, anti-military votes plus any of this votes and statements which continue to undermine our protection over his 19 years in the Senate. If he cannot or does not because he wants to play NICE , he will lose this election. Hate, lies, and media bias are very powerful and this last DNC convention has shown that projecton, , revisionist history, and chutzpah of the Dems calling the Pubs the real haters and the real attackers and the real pessimists could overcome the record and what W has really accomplished.

Does anyone vote for a Veep choice made by the Presidential contender or incumbant? Not very often. In fact, whoever Kerry chooses will have little impact. Edwards , a one term Carolina Senator achieved nothing in his 6-yr. term and would have lost if he had run for another term. Geppie resigned from the House when he lost his Speaker's attempt. A liberal from the start, he is an honest lib who wants big spending and is a Mid-West choice. Will it matter? I doubt it. The South will be for Bush and the Mid-West will be battlegrounds over economic news. The media is salivating since anything, any choice which would damage the President, they want. I hope all had a Happy 4th. When I saw Kerry shooting guns in Iowa, saying he was a conservative, and was telling people he thought life began at conception which is a lie over his last 19 years of voting in the Senate, I knew that the Dems were on a campaign to revise history so the voter would think Kerry is not what he really is. The look and feel from a European trip

My wife and I recently returned from a brief 11 day trip to Eastern Europe. In Germany, in the media, there was lots of questioning of America and Bush. But, not so much in Hungary, Austria, or Czech. or Slovakia. They were more interested in how their economies were doing, the sales going on, some cultural bits and American movie stars! People were generally friendly since tourism has to be a major part of their economic growth. In Prague, scenes of the model Communist state still remained, depressingly so. Yet young people dressed like Americans and everybody had a cell phone. There was lots of grafitti which sort of surprised us. Stores were busy. Hungary, Budapest in general was wild for freedom, captitalism, and new stores and marketplaces. People there were very friendly and proud of their freedom. Austria was romantic, smug, and seemingly wealthy. The Japanese tourists were all over the place. It seemed they dominated the ethnic visitors. Americans were there but so were the British, the Aussies and the New Zealanders. The Euro is king but I am not sure that the EU is very stable. They still cannot decide on a leader and refuse to go with Britain, Ireland, Italy or Spain since the Germans and French are still pouting over Iraq. One does not find pro-Kerry stories as much as questioning of Bush over the war. There is no balance in reporting on the BBC. It is now just a left-wing shill for pacifism and the failure of the war gossip. It does not take the Islamic threat seriously. No one in Europe speaks of Islam though their nations are filled with Muslims. We enjoyed the visit since Austria is my wife's homeland. But, flying 14-19 hours in a plane is just torture. Worse, far worse than anything at Abu!!!

Memorial Day is usually not accepted or honored by liberals in this nation unless they can downgrade our military history or what they think is a penchant to be an imperial power. Too bad that. This nation is the only so-called empire that has ever given up its colonial possessions. Cuba, the Phillippines, other areas we picked up in the Spanish-American War. We are the most charitable nation in the entire world. We help so many nations who have no repect for us that one wonders why so many Americans are willing to be taxed for all the foreign aid and give-aways that we send to these ingrates! The President gave a good speech on Memorial Day this morning as did Sec. of Defense Rumsfeld. Of course, the NY Times and the other lefty media outlets will never admit this. They will print letter which will undo any of the sentiments and truth that the two above gentlemen uttered. Instead of remembering why our wars have been enacted to help others without getting much in return, the liberal media and posters on the Net plus the politicians who are out of power, rail against not only the Iraq war but our military presense anywhere! To answer them, I would say, bring the troops home from those areas in which the leaders of those nations disagree with our efforts. We can use them not only on our own borders but can use them in our efforts to blast the Islamofacists. I honor our military from the American Revolution on. Their deaths and victories grant me the freedom to write on a blog like this. That freedom is worth dying for and I am humbled that I live in a free nation dispite the naysayers who hate our presence in the world so much!

The horrid thing is now, liberals in the so-called mainstream or 'moderate' side of the DNC et al, are using the same extreme lingo that they for yeara have charge the Right using. Pure projection from Kennedy, Kerry, Gore, Rangel, Frank, Pelosi and others have screamed wolf, Hitler, Facist, Nazi so and too long, that their admonitions to the media and thus to the public that the GOP use extreme lingo has almost backfired in a rush of restless language that portrays the GOP, Bush, Christians, Conservatives as the traitors who are about to deliver the nation to pure chaos.That their very policies , politics, and language are exactly accomplishing in effect what they charge their 'enemies' with,never seems to dent their consciousness! As of today, it sure looks like evil, liberalism, everything Sean Hannity warned us about in his recent book, is winning. A Think tank in London says now that 18,000 Al Queda murderers are prepped to attack Western Civilazation especially the USA. The Tank makes an absurd statement that it is Iraq which has fired up the hatred and recruitment of these Al Q thugs! I remember 1993, the Khobar Towers, the Cole all Al Q attacks plus of course Afhghanistan. All before our war in Iraq by our brave President. The evil of Islamofacism seems to be winning since it is not only undermining our own military and the President, but it is cowing other ME reformers, the media, and the Democrat Party. Liberalism is the tact which the media, the DNC and many Americans are once again believing in as they trash Bush, America, the military, and the war in Iraq. It seems that liberals never learn the lesson of defeating evil They never got it during the Cold War and they don't get it now in this world battle of civilizations and cultures. Recently the comedian, Bill Cosby, shocked the liberal establishment, the NAACP, and the media by bringing up the communication skills of black kids in our government schools. It was a shock because it is not PC to deal with the inablilities, the inadequacies of any minority in our culture. It must be the unwritten law to not bring up unfortunate stats on reading, writing, or illigitmate births, crime stats, marriagne figues. The media will immediately cry BIAS, INTOLERANCE, while the poor kid in our minority schools and even in integrated schools suffer from poor parental support, heavy peer pressure not to succeed, music and pop culture plus an over-emphasis on sports and achievement which gives them unrealistic aspirations. It is a crime. Cosby was telling the truth. Education and communication skills still mean something when company headhunters are looking for new blood, innovative, and inventive workers. The NAACP should know this. The NEA should know this. That they refuse to reform and aid their own minority kids is a crime. Vouchers for education could help. So could home schooling and private religious education where able. The Democrat Party is one of the biggest obstacles to minority success in education since they must kow tow to their largest contributors in the body of the NEA. Perhaps Republicans and Christians who have been talking about educational reform should be given more credence by the media and perhaps the minoritiy communities should listen to Cosby and them if they want real reform and better communication skills for their charges.

College teaching today ended my 43rd year in the game.

Today, I finished teaching at City College and enjoyed it as ususal for this sememster. It was the end of my 43rd year teaching on many levels. This last 20 or so years, I have been teaching all senior citizens. It has been a blast. Seniors have been around the coffee cup of experience and learning. We examine economics, politics, education, culture,and even religion. Senior citizens come from all levels of eduation, geographic areas, and political experiences. I have had ex-media pundits , military people, people who worked for the IRS and even the Federal Reserve in my classes. Of course, there have been more females than males since they seem to outlive their male counterparts. They have had such jobs as teaching, head of companies, economists, housewives, and secretaries. Over the years, most of the seniors have voted Republican and few have voted Democrat. Funny that since they are housed in a Senior Complex in a very Democrat precinct here in Long Beach, Ca. But, they are and have been very clear as to political stances.Mostly the females have been willing to talk of their religious experiences. Lately, I have found them finally being introduced to the Internet and sites which they can contact for many interests. They are always willing to learn about more sites. I have also found that the seniors appreciate the class since it keeps them connected with many cultural events, political ranklings, and of course, now, the war against terrorism. I have not found one of the seniors against the war. I also have found that issues that pols think are so important to seniors do not seem to obscess them. For instance, health care seems to be an issue which they think about but few seem sad about their own coverage! Taxation seems to be an issue which they know about but do not seem to worry about except on a national level! Starting in Sept, I will enter my 44th year teaching and those seniors, God Willing, will be there to share, laugh and learn. And they really do think the class is a time of fellowship and so do I. At 65, it is odd that only a couple of them are actually younger than I am. I'm still the junior to the seniors!

If any of you have ever been to Atlantic City or Las Vegas, you will see cities which are basing their tax receipts on sin, gambling, whoring, and people's weaknesses. Yet in America, we are allowed Constitutionally to spend our money and assemble with whom we wish. From the Islamofacist world view, these two cities represent all that is evil in the Judeo-Christian Western Civilized nations on this globe. So , they have a culture of death, cut off hands and feet, behead enemies, torture, yes, real torture of their own citizens and dare to get upset of prisoners in Iraq who wear women's underwear. Not only are they hypocrites but so are the Liberal Democrats and Media in this nation who are undermining our military effort to defeat Islamofacism. That both the terrorists and liberals hate Bush, should give pause for those who will vote in Novemember, 2004 with their agenda of ABB. Anybody but Bush. Funny too, that if you do go to those two 'sin cities', you will find some good things to eat, view, enjoy, buy, and view. From auto shows, to Guggenheim Museaum showpieces, to movie, stage and radio showcases, the cities do actually have a positive place too. Then, there are the pools, spas, and in Atlantic City, the ocean. Restaurants, stores, hotels abound. There are even places of worship in both cities. Compare that with the cities that are the so-called 'holy places' in the 22 Arab one party dicatatorships. Where is the freedom? Where is the religious freedom? Where can people actually protest, buy things they want, assemble without too much hassle in the Middle East? Well, of course, there is Israel!!! But, again, both liberals and the Islamos seem to blame Israel for all the world's troubles too. Just like America, or those two sin cities, Atlantic City and Las Vegas.

In the movie, stage play, Chicago, there is a great song, Why ain't there no class. The culture has indeed disintegrated to a place where rap music, Showtime, HBO, VH1, scatological jokes, anal and oral sex, and really ragged swear words dominate our youth, our politicians, our educators, and media presentations. What is it about our freedom that leads us to licence? Well one thing we know is that respect for the Judeo-Christian Western Civilization has all but disappeared on our university campuses, some religious places, government political correctness and sadly in how parents rear their kids. Politeness seems to have gone by the board. Yet, in some areas of our nation, kids, parents, and the hard working salt of the earth that makes this country run still practice skills, love, social graces and un-political correctness to emphasize truth, justice, common sense, and good old American values. It is values that count as well as the character to apply them to our everyday life that will affect others and effect change for the good. BTW, it does seem that those values seem to be practiced more in the so-called RED states rather than the so-called BLUE states. It would be nice to see the mainstream media do so analysis on that even if it galls them!

4 Million who did not vote in 2000 plus others who didn't with other excuses.

As a conservative teacher, pastor and political junkie, I was amazed that in 2000, 4 million registered Evangelical Christians did not, did not vote! Charles Colson wrote recently on this. It is a disgrace that citizens who knew better witheld their votes because of some one issue voters who fretted that George Bush might be a secret drunk. Or he might have cheated on Laura. Or he might not be as pure as they were. This election in Nov., 2004, has to see these 4 million registered Christians vote or the President will lose for sure. But, they are not the only ones. In fact, there were other voters who really just wasted their votes. Libertarians, Reform people, Constitutionalists, and other somewhat conservative voters simply were trapped in their delusions that a third party actually could move voters, create a new foundation for an ideology that supposedly was rumbling right below the political surface and just waiting for some leader to coalesce these millions just waiting to get rid of the Democrat and Republican Parties. That this has and never will happen doesn't seem to enter into the minds of these American voters. Can you imagine if these 'purists' would realize that in Nov., 2004, might be the most crucial election in nearly 50 years and how they could decide races in varied battleground states, localities, and even precincts? I pray, I beg, I abjure all these type of voters to not allow liberalism , which is nowadays (pacifistic-socialism)in the person of John Kerry and the Congressional leadership of Tom Dashchle, Nancy Pelosi, Patrick Leahy, Charles Rangel, and Teddy Kennedy. To allow this to happen should be the burden of non-voting Christian voters, Libertarians, and any one-issue proto-conservative type voters such as the Constitutionalists. Forgo your pharisaical-legalism-purist conservative views and vote for a candidate and a group of candidates in the GOP who will keep the nation safe from Islamofacism and do more for conservative ideals than any Kerry Administration could do.
